“A debut children’s book that features an inquisitive animal and his colorful circle of friends … Little’s quaint tale, augmented by Wenzel’s naturalistic paintings, calls to mind the exploits of Peter Rabbit and Winnie-the-Pooh.” -Kirkus Reviews

“Montgomery and his friends speak to one another and express human emotions, they look and behave like real , reach-out-and-pet animals. {Little] enlivens the sights, sounds, and scents of the lovely rural setting captured by Wenzel’s gorgeous, masterly illustrations … every character adds charm.”  -Kirkus Reviews

In this award-winning children’s tale, adventures and mysteries await a young lop-eared rabbit when he accidently falls through a hole in an old white fence.

With no way back to his shady, comfortable yard, Montgomery sets out to explore the world beyond. Along the way, he meets a field rabbit named Bentley, and the two are off in search of a legendary raspberry patch.

About Sandy Little

About the Author: Sandy Little is a wife and mother living in Hidden Hills, California. Sandy has enjoyed a 25-year career in the entertainment business-on both sides of the camera-and is excited to bring her visual and storytelling skills to her first book, Montgomery Rabbit, which was inspired by her own childhood memories of playing in her grandfather’s raspberry patch, and by her love for family. Sandy is a passionate chef, photographer, and traveler.

About the Illustrator: Artist/illustrator David Wenzel has been creating original artwork for over 35 years.

Montgomery Rabbit had every reason to be happy. He lived quietly in a shady yard protected by a beautiful white fence.

Every day offered another chance to play in the green grass with a sandy-haired girl who wore dusty boots. She brought Montgomery the most delicious red raspberries in a small silver bowl.
